When a company wants its vehicles recognised, it thinks doors and tailgate. That's logical — it's the biggest surface. It's also the most expensive to cover, and the hardest to restore.
The problem with wrapping a fleet
Adhesive branding across a fleet is a serious per-vehicle investment, with downtime for fitting. More importantly, on a lease, removal is chargeable and any imperfection in the removal comes back as a recharge at hand-back.
Plenty of fleet managers end up giving up, or limiting branding to their most visible vehicles only.
Why wheels are an underused surface
A wheel turns, and a moving object draws the eye far more than a static panel. Parked, a hubcap stays visible even when the vehicle is kerbside with its doors against a wall — which is half the time in town.
And above all: almost nobody does it. A logo on the wheels gets noticed precisely because it's unexpected.
Reversible — and that's the decisive argument
A hubcap clips on and comes off by hand, no tools, no marks. At end of contract you remove them, refit the originals, and the vehicle is handed back exactly as it left. Nothing to remove, nothing to argue about.
The same set can even move to the next vehicle if the diameter matches.
Who it suits
- Rental firms, taxis, private hire — visible identity without altering the vehicle.
- Trades and delivery fleets — instantly identifiable on site or on a round.
- Driving schools, charities, clubs — group consistency on a small budget.
- Events — temporary branding, on and off in minutes.
What to prepare
Just two things: the wheel diameter of your vehicles — written on the tyre sidewall, after the R — and your logo as a vector file (.ai, .svg, .eps) or at very high resolution. The printed area is several hundred millimetres across: a logo pulled off a website will look blurry.
Careful: the same model can come in several diameters depending on trim. Check the tyre vehicle by vehicle, not from a spec sheet.
Our Rim Crew Pro offer starts from a single vehicle: up to 19 sets, you order online at the shop price; from 20 to 49 sets, we quote on request; tiered discounts start at 50 sets. The unit is still a set of 4 hubcaps, one per wheel.
